RoboAwesome's Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory | Review (PS3)

Added: 29.03.2013 21:20 | 12 views | 0 comments

" I have been playing RPGs my whole life, specifically JRPGs. I started with Final Fantasy and Phantasy Star 3 and those two games hooked me on the genre. Over the past few years JRPGs have been a little hit and VERY miss. A few good titles on the Wii come to mind, but other than that it was pretty bad out there. This year changed all that when Ni No Kuni came out on the Playstation 3. I had hope for the genre again and soon purchased the new Fire Emblem and Etrian Odyssey. They were both fine editions into the genre. Were they coming back? I had hoped so and possibly hyped myself up too much for the next JRPG I would play which was Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory. What a mouthful!" -RoboAwesome.com

Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate 3DS Review The Definitive Experience I TheKoalition

Added: 28.03.2013 15:18 | 3 views | 0 comments

David Jagneaux of TheKoalition writes: Monster Hunter, for its hardcore appeal and daunting learning curve, has never really gained a solid foothold for Western audiences. Similar to Fire Emblem in that respect, this series suffers from a lack of support in other areas of the world, but enjoys mass success and appeal across the board in Japan. Thankfully this latest update of the popular Monster Hunter Tri, originally for the Nintendo Wii not only improves on the concepts in the original game, but also offers enough new content for those that played the game previously.

The Koalition's Generation of Chaos: Pandoras Reflection Review Simplistic Strategy

Added: 22.03.2013 13:18 | 6 views | 0 comments

The Koalition writes: "Franchises like Fire Emblem and Final Fantasy Tactics are typically the ones synonymous with the strategy-RPG subgenre. Generation of Chaos: Pandora's Reflection does not try to satisfy that itch, however, but instead employs a much simpler version of traditional SRPG mechanics into an accessible portable offering. Does all of this simplification translate into a better game, or does it get caught somewhere in between? The Generation of Chaos franchise isn't a new one, but Pandora's Reflection still offers some unique facets that attempt to break away from the norms; for better and for worse."
